SCHOOLS CLOSED: Due to widespread power outages and impacted roadways, all Caddo schools and sites will be closed on Monday, April 29. We are working with our utility partners to develop a plan for reopening schools.
7th graders: Yearbook Staff applications are now being accepted for the 2024-25 school year. Applicants must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA with a good discipline record. If you meet those requirements and want to be a part of creating next year’s yearbook, please see Mrs. Gordon to receive an application. Signed applications are due back to Mrs. Gordon May 6.

ARTBREAK MASTER CLASSES RESCHEDULED:
The Dance Master Class with Kimberley Johnsonis rescheduled to Friday, April 12, from 8:30 AM to 2 PM in the first floor Rotunda area of the Shreveport Convention Center.
The VISUAL and LITERARY MASTER CLASSES are rescheduled for Friday, April 12, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
The elementary school “BATTLE of the BOOKS“ master class is rescheduled to Friday, April 12, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
The ELIZA REDMANN master class for sculpture is rescheduled for Friday, April 12, from 8:30 AM to 2 PM.
Caddo Parish Schools: Due to the potential for severe weather and out of an abundance of caution, all schools and district sites will be closed on Wednesday, April 10.
Artbreak activities are cancelled as well. Rescheduling decisions will be made this afternoon.
District leadership will continue monitoring weather conditions to determine when schools will reopen and will notify parents and staff.

Dress code for 7th and 8th grade students attending the Mardi Gras dance:
This is a formal dance. Clothing should be appropriate for a middle school student. Two piece dresses will NOT be allowed. Also low-cut (front or back), high slit, super-short, or skin tight knit dresses will NOT be allowed. If dress is strapless, you must wear a jacket. Boys should wear slacks and a nice shirt.
